A Quality Engineer is needed to join a fantastic modern manufacturing business near Halifax, West Yorkshire.
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing a Quality system from scratch, which is a rare and exciting opportunity for an existing Quality Engineer to take the lead, develop & achieve ISO 9001:2015.
This is a stand-alone position that will allow you to really create a department from scratch.
The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
-Manage all quality functions within a manufacturing environment
-Lead and manage quality auditing activity, including KPI's to ensure minimum NCR's.
-Manage suppliers and supplier performance
-Identify root causes for quick NCR resolution and investigating corrective or preventative actions as necessary.
-Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders
-Manage Supplier performance and KPI's
The successful Quality Engineer must be able to demonstrate in their CV and at interview, the following skills and experience:
-Quality experience within a manufacturing environment
-Audited to ISO 9001 standard
-Maintained or implemented Quality systems
-Internal manufacturing audit experience
-Experience of NCR resolution
