Title: Billing Analyst
Salary: GBP21,000 - GBP23,000
Location: Northampton
Do you have strong analytical and statistical probing skills? Do you have experience of working in a commercial environment? The Billing Analyst will be responsible for the final completion and issuing of authorisation reports and resolution of all queries relating to the invoice validation process as well as general billing and supplier queries. You will provide support to the Bureau Operations team in relation to group supplier invoice queries and to manage the external supplier relationships. Responsibilities:
- Provide support with any ad-hoc information requests
- Managing queries generated from the ARs through to resolution within the agreed timescales
- Management of outstanding supplier debt with the suppliers
- Creation of invoice vs actual reports
- Creation of payment files
- Managing general queries through to resolution within the agreed timescales
- Requesting remittances from the customer
- Maintaining the portfolio and asset database
- Managing any Change of Tenancy through to completion
- Managing any reminders & threat of disconnection through to resolution
- Adding any new sites/meters to group supply contract
- Managing any incoming post and ensuring this is filed, scanned and sent to EXL within the agreed timescales
- Downloading any invoices from the supplier websites as required
- Coordinating any meter reads as required if included in the service
- Chasing any missing bills from the supplier
Skills and Experience:
- Organised & Accurate
- Experience of dealing with customers & suppliers
- Good PC skills with an excellent knowledge of Office applications specifically Excel and Access
- Strong understanding of Utilities and Energy Reporting would be beneficial
- Able to demonstrate self-reliance and ability to manage own time and priorities
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple language
