Senior Auditor for Group covering Internal IT Audit

Your expertise is required in leading and conducting audits and providing technical expertise within the Technology Audit team. You will provide risk and control consultancy to aligned businesses

- Educated to degree level with relevant qualifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM are preferable)
- In-depth knowledge and experience of IT within financial services
- Good awareness of key IT risk themes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in 1:1 and group situations
- Proven ability to build relationships and positively influence stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-moving commercial environment

Desirable

- Significant experience in a first line role within an IT function, whether operational support for applications or infrastructure, or performing IT development work
- Experience of undertaking technical audits/control assurance reviews
- Expertise of technology platforms and product sets including Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL, Linux
- Knowledge of the development and maintenance cycle for customer-facing digital applications
- Sound knowledge of relevant financial services industry regulations

Support the Head of Audit/IT Audit Manager in building credible, partnership-based, relationships with stakeholders across Standard Life. This includes direct responsibility for managing Group Function interactions with designated senior managers and governance committees/forums.
