Customer Sales Advisor

An exciting opportunity for a Customer Sales Advisor to join one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing self storage companies.

The role of the Customer Sales Advisor is to ensure customers receive a consistently high level of service.

In addition to providing day-to-day help to our customers, you will contribute to the overall cleanliness appearance and overall effectiveness of the operation and, in the absence of other management, may be required to take responsibility for other store activities.

Your principle objective is to guarantee customers an excellent level of service whilst at the same time ensuring the highest level of sales for the Company.

About you

You will have had previous experience within a customer facing role involving sales. It would also be advantageous if your experience was from a retail background, such as a mobile phone store, or from a part industrial/part shop environment where you would have dealt with a diverse group of customers.

Responsibilities:

    Deal effectively with sales enquires from customers over the telephone and face to face, advising and selling the range of available services to potential and existing customersMaximise every sales enquiry to ensure the store hits its targetComplete all administrative tasks to ensure compliance with company proceduresMaintain a clean and tidy storeIn instances of lone working or in the Store Manager and Supervisors absence take key holder responsibility.Ensure that the store ‘bad debt’ is kept to a minimum. Implementing procedures and controls to recover any bad debtDay to day liaison with a diverse group customersAchieving a high level of customer service and satisfaction
Person Specification:

In order to be successful in the position you will need the following: 

    Must live within a 30 minute commute of Kingston-upon-Thames - KT2 7AZThis is a busy store, so good time management skills and the ability to be calm under pressure are essential for this role.A good level of written and verbal communication skillsAbility to speak clearly and demonstrate effective listening skills when communicating with customers face to face or over the phone, self disciplineAttention to detailComfortable working in a small team environmentAdaptable to lone workingProject confidence and knowledge of Company products and services on completion of the induction and probation periodGCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English

Salary: £18,302

Location: Kingston-upon-Thames

Start Date: 04th June 2018 (Preferred)

Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week - working 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7.30am-6pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 weekend in 3 between the hours of 8.30am-5pm (2 days off in Lieu when working at the weekend).
