About The Role CIQHP

Opportunity for an experienced Sales & Marketing professional to lead the generation of sales through effective marketing, and drive sales growth across all TRL Software products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing and sales strategy that drives sustainable and profitable revenue growth year on year. You will be expected to travel extensively to support opportunities across key global markets: UK, India, Asia, ME, Africa, North and South America. You will manage the sales and marketing team for the Software business.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Develop an integrated marketing and sales strategy for all TRL Software products
  • Develop and execute a marketing and sales plan that will successfully generate a qualified pipeline of opportunities and deliver performance aligned with expectations
  • Deliver in-year sales growth
  • Work with the Head of Product Management and Professional Services to develop software focussed value propositions and proactively take them to market
  • Ensure the integrity of the data associated with opportunities is fit-for-purpose within our Pipeline/CRM system
  • Provide timely and accurate sales performance reports and take a forward-look
  • Author compelling bids and pitching to clients
  • Maintain compliance with the wider company business winning process
  • Build a leading presence for TRL Software in the Transport ecosystem, establishing strong reputations and relationships in new and existing markets
  • Collaborate with the wider businesses Market Development Leads to ensure that TRL's insight, thought leadership and software campaigns are properly targeted to deliver return on investment

Skills & Experience

This role calls for an ambitious and "hands on" marketing and sales professional with the proven ability to maximise returns from existing markets and develop new markets, and who is well-used to establishing and maintaining 'C level' business relationships.

Demonstrable experience of successfully selling to Governments, local authorities, regulatory bodies and private companies.

Core skills will include client relationship management, business development and market analysis, sales strategy development and execution, people management.
