Employability Administrator
Our client, Coventry University Students' Union are looking to recruit an Employability Administrator to maintain the administration of student placements, timetabling, lecture attendance and student enquiries. This role will also include the checking process of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications and to coordinate CUSU’s reward and student skills programme.
You must be an enthusiastic and a proactive individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads within timescales and meet deadlines. You will have experience of working in a busy administrative environment and excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications. Ability of updating e-learning programmes (e.g. Moodle) together with knowledge of the HE and national qualification framework is highly desirable.
Experience/qualifications
- A broad range of office experience in a busy working environment, which must include highly skilled administrative duties and clerical work
- Experience of dealing directly with internal and external clients
- Experience of customer service with high standards
- Experience of coordinating and marketing events
- Equivalent qualifications of Level 3 which demonstrate proven numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills
Responsibilities
- To ensure and maintain the coordination of high quality administrative systems to principally support the Placement and Module Unit.
- To administrate the DBS checking process and to administrate CUSU’s reward and student skills programmes.
- To be first point of contact for students’ queries and providing assistance as required for the unit.
This post is temporary till October 2019 to cover maternity leave; working full time of 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
