The Department of Biostatistics is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join our IS team and take on the role of Systems Administrator. The purpose of this post is to take responsibility for the Windows server administration and server security aspects of our research portfolio, supporting the research activities of the Department of Biostatistics and the Clinical Trials Research Centre.
The nature of the work that is undertaken by the IS team requires that you can communicate effectively with the whole range of specialities within a health research environment, including health professionals, statisticians, data managers and study coordinators. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience), a passion for technology, and have an understanding of how advances in techniques can be applied to the development of applications for health research.
