Job Title: Manufacturing Co-ordinator
Location: Swindon
Term: Permanent
Role: Part-Time
Hours/Days: 10:00am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: GBP13,000 - GBP15,000 per annum
Our client is looking for a part-time Coordinator to join their well-established team. You'll need to come from a manufacturing background, preferably electronics or telecoms.
Manufacturing Coordinator Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the "build plan"
• Co-ordinate board builds to support project and business needs with oversea suppliers.
• Oversee supply chain procurement to ensure materials are available in time for board builds and product assembly.
• Liaise with factories to arrange suitable build dates
• Collect demand forecasts and translate to a build plan
• Ensure all manufacturing feedback is captured and fed into the engineering design process.
• Day to day on-site support and problem resolution
Manufacturing Coordinator Requirements:
• Worked with a similar position preferably with a telecoms or electronics industry background
• Must be good with numbers
• Must be able to use MS office products to a good standard
• Very good written communication as well as over the phone and face to face
• Must be tenacious and be able to work through problems whist taking own initiative
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Would be ideal if the candidate was aware of Electric circuit boards and components
