We are currently searching for an experienced INTERNAL QUALITY ASSESSOR to join our established team based in Kemble near Cirencester. At Resource Group our customers rely on the right people to provide industry approved training to develop software and systems to improve business for our clients. We work with OEMs, operators and support businesses across Aviation, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive, National Security and Defence markets as well as related technical markets and applications.

This would be the perfect chance for an INTERNAL QUALITY ASSESSOR to join us as you will be responsible for conduct and overseeing ASAs' direct and indirect assessments of the apprentices, both for knowledge and competence qualifications. You will coordinate and plan all initial ILPs (Individual Learning Plans), periodic ILRs and have their team assemble all relevant data for Gateway Reviews.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Apprentice Centre manager with all Employer engagement meetings and reviews.
  • Prepare and submit review reports to LRTT, Employers and Apprentices.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the 6 week interim support reviews with apprentices.
  • Manage a caseload of approx 20 apprentices.
  • Attend quarterly standardisation meetings and training sessions.
  • Set goals, targets, work-based tasks, stretch and challenge activities within designated caseloads.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years assessor experience is preferable more recently assessment of Apprentice Standards.
  • D32, D33, D34 A1, V1, IQA
  • Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent.
  • Ability to achieve Enhanced DBS.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards.

Advantageous:
  • Level 4 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Teaching/Training Qualification (PTLLS, AET, TAQA) or above.
  • Experience in the use of e-portfolios (Pivot) to gather and assess evidence of competence.
  • Proven experience and training in Safeguarding, PREVENT and British Values.
