It is a place where someone,who understands what drives today's business organisations, can becreative in a very complex and fast moving environment.As EMEA Presales Director you will be responsible for managing a numberof experienced presales teams selling Oracle Hospitality POS Solutionsto the Food & Beverage market across the Region.The successful candidate will possess a variety of skills including: Team Lead or Management Experience in a Software Presales environment Excellent persuasive presentation skills in order to present technical solutions to prospects and existing customers Discovery skills to liaise with customers to understand their business challenges, configure & run complex evaluation labs and drive them to a technical win The ability to produce high quality documentation of a technical nature Excellent communication skills to update Project Teams, Sales Teams and Customers. Knowledge and understanding of the Software and / or Hospitality industries ideally from a Sales or Presales perspective Ability to travel as needed BA/BS degree or equivalent (advanced degree desirable)Detailed Description and Job Requirements:Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying thetechnology/application to client business. Facilitation of customerproduct/application understanding through presentations demonstrationsand benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-salesresources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functionalleadership to the sales team in the development and implementation ofcustomer applications and customer products. Participates in accountplanning and strategy development. May publishes technical informationof specific applications and/or technical articles. Works withmanagement to define new products. Serves as the company liaison onspecific technical projects with customers.Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans toachieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functionalareas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives aremet. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others insensitive situations important. Knowledge of software industry relatingto all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills.Strong presentation skills. Ability to Travel as needed.
