Trust and Foundation Manager, Arts, British Council
Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside the British Council to hire a Trust & Foundation Manager.
The purpose of the Foundation Manager role will be -
* To develop and sustain partnerships with UK Trusts & Foundations across the British Council Arts portfolio and for some cross SBU projects with a significant Arts element.
* To assist the Director of Development (Arts) to cultivate and steward Trust and Foundation prospects.
As the Trust Manager you will be required to -
* Working across multiple art forms and multi-location teams in the UK and abroad to develop funding bids
* Developing relationships. Develop and maintain good working relationships with Arts Group, Partnerships team in the UK and globally, and with external T&F partners, to facilitate effective development of the agreed focus Arts programme.
* Work with the Arts team to co-ordinate and manage that existing and potential T&F guests are included for relevant cultivation and stewardship events.
* Advise regional and country teams on partnership opportunities
In order to apply for the role you will require -
* A proven track record of meeting income targets
* Experience of working in a charity fundraising team or within a UK Trust or Foundation, preferably within an arts environment
* Experience of working with senior colleagues in partner organisations
* Ability to think creatively in identifying potential T&F opportunities
