Admin/Accounts Assistant
We are an engineering company in Croydon and are looking for an Admin/Accounts Assistant to work in our busy office.
The ideal person will have admin experience and also has a working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Professional. The job is very varied so you must be adaptable and work well on your own but also in a team. Some of the duties of the role are:
" Inputting all purchase invoices
" Raising invoices and credit notes on our database
" Importing all customer and suppliers invoices onto Sage
" Bank reconciliation
" Paying suppliers
" Sorting out all customer and supplier accounts queries
" Recording and reconciling Petty Cash
" Updating credit and debit ledgers
" Keeping PAYE schedule up to date
" Liaising with Payroll company on any queries
" Setting up all new suppliers and customers on Sage
" Credit Checks on new customers
" Ad hoc tasks for Accountant
" Ordering Stationary and keep stock of stationary
" Filing and archiving
" Answering calls and dealing with queries
" Keeping staff records up to date
" Sending all employees working hours over to Payroll
" Note taking in meetings
" Liaising with outsourced companies i cleaners, IT, photocopier etc.
" General Admin duties

We are looking for someone who is honest, reliable, and trustworthy and has a good sense of humour. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm. The salary is £22,000 p, 4 weeks paid holiday plus bank holidays and pension.
