Electronic Design Engineer required for a successful international engineering company which can offer fantastic training and progression opportunities. This is a great opportunity to join a company where you will play a key role in designing critical products which help save lives.

To apply for this role you will have experience designing embedded systems including both analogue and digital circuits and ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have a good understanding of hardware and candidates who have additional experience with embedded programming or intrinsic safety (Ex) design will hold a considerable advantage.

Working within a team of eight, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and existing products. You will play a key role in designing the hardware of the products as well as PCBs. You will oversee the project lifecycle and product testing. The role is split equally between designing analogue and digital circuits by using Mentor Expedition. Design package training will be provided.

The Person:

* Experience designing electronic circuits

* Ideally Degree level educated or equivalent

* Ideally have programming experience - C, C++
