Grade 1: Hourly rate £8.03 per hour

Do you have what it takes to prepare tasty high quality food to order? Keele University are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Lindsay Café Bar. Set within the former Sneyd family estate, the universities beautiful grounds create a great working environment with a real sense of community.

Lindsay Café Bar serves a wide range of food and drinks as well as operating a small retail outlet for the students living in Lindsay Halls of residence. The team at Lindsay Café Bar prides itself on providing a comfortable and welcoming environment to all students and staff within the university. As well as having a passion for customer service and team work, the ideal applicant will have experience of preparing food in a busy kitchen environment, following food safety procedures and legislation.

In return, you will have access to a range of facilities on campus including shops, bars, restaurants and sports centre with staff discount available in some areas.  As well as an excellent benefits package, you will receive a full induction and dedicated training to enhance your skills within the role. 

Please note this appointment is subject to medical clearance and on-going medical surveillance by the University Occupational Health provider.
