Red chilli recruitment are proud to be working alongside a rapidly growing and highly successful manufacturer of bespoke high end sailing yachts and catamarans.
Due to back to back orders for the foreseeable future and exciting plans going forward, our client is looking to permanently grow their existing team. They therefore have several roles for experienced marine experienced carpenters, boat builders and joiners
Main duties:
* To install preassembled furniture and upholstered side lining and headlining panels to a high standard of quality, and on time.
* Second fix / Final fit. To fit out cabins (heads), galleys, saloons, crew quarters, doors, furniture, upholstered panels and bathrooms to a very high standard of finish.
* Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure the parts are fitted in accordance with the build schedule
* Observe a strict 5s policy within your working area, ensuring it is kept clean and tidy at all times, and material stored in a structured way
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Must be trained and qualified in Carpentry
* Boat building / marine experience essential
* Must have an eye for quality
* Own transport due to location
* Ability to work as part of a Team is essential
In return you will be offered:
* Secure long term position on a paye basis of GBP12-12.70hr, rising to GBP13.20hr in time.
* Plenty of overtime available at time and a half
* Holiday 20 days, rising by one day per year of service to a maximum of 25
* Performance and attendance bonuses
* Free parking
* 7am-3.15pm monday to friday
