The Company are a successful UK on-line business which has its own distribution warehouse in Newcastle under Lyme. Due to continued growth and future expansion, they now require an Administrative Assistant to work within a team office environment. You will undertake a variety of admin tasks ensuring the Product & Customer Service teams have adequate support to work efficiently during their peak times.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone to develop and progress, to grow with the business and perform a key role.
Role and Responsibilities:

Full training on all aspects of the work will be given.
- Monitoring Stock levels, checking stock reports and maintaining in-house database.
- Reviewing Purchase Orders and analysing order quantities.
- Assisting Product Team with new product work and writing product descriptions for the website.
- Assistance in the creation of engaging content including blogs, electronic newsletters and other materials.
- Assisting Customer Service with customer enquiries
- Producing reports using Microsoft Excel where required
The candidate must have knowledge of the internet and have experience in using MS Office package.
- PC literate with good keyboard skills & proficient in MS Office
- Maths and English - GCSE standard (or equivalent), minimum grade C
- Ability to compose emails and communications with excellent spelling and grammar
- Proactive and upbeat with friendly personality, able to work in a team environment
- Polite telephone manner, good communication and interpersonal skills with confident manner
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
