IT Support Analyst

This is a full time permanent position at this expanding company's Sevenoaks site with some travel to their other sites (Harlow, Bow) required at times, (Mileage will be paid but you must have your own transport).

You will be working as part of the IT Team to ensure all technology is working effectively as well as helping to ensure the network, systems and equipment are operational. You will be providing high quality IT support to personnel across the business.

Typical working hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday (with Occasional Weekend Work required)

Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem resolutions skills
- A self-starter who can work unattended and under pressure
- Experience in an office environment with excellent personal relationship skills
- Experience with hardware/software installation, configuration and repair
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft products Excel, Word, Outlook and have up to date Windows knowledge (Windows 7, Windows 10)
- Basic understanding of Windows Server (2008 & 2016)
- Basic networking skills (TCP/IP), WI-FI and network cabling (CAT5 + 6)
- Academic studies in an IT-related discipline and/or commercial experience within an IT position

Role:
- Provide timely 1st/2nd line support to personnel on IT issues; analysing and resolving faults
- User support of in house software systems; training would be provided
- Where appropriate provide training and support to personnel to improve efficiency
- Assist the IT Manager to install, upgrade, update, maintain IT hardware and software
- Working as part of the IT team with internal IT projects
- Install/Support of PCs & Laptops, Windows7 and Windows 10
- Install/Support of Printers; Networked and Local
- Install/Support of networking equipment; WI-FI Access Points, Switches and Routers
- Create user accounts, manage permissions and passwords
