Experienced Internal Sales Executive required for company based in Thame, Oxfordshire.
The basic salary is GBP21,000 pa which will be raised to GBP22,000 pa after a 6-month probationary period. You will also receive an extra GBP200 monthly bonus on hitting productivity targets and GBP150 monthly team bonus once overall target achieved.
The job holder will be accountable for achieving:
. Minimum of 45 outbound calls per day to promote the value proposition of the company
. Generate new business appointments for field sales where required (ad-hoc)
. To drive quotations into the business through effective communications and follow up accordingly
. Maintain and grow the prospect pipeline
. Maintain and develop contact information in the CRM system
. Liaise with all key stakeholders within the business and report on productivity accordingly
PLANNING AND ORGANISING
The job holder will be required to:
. Plan and schedule calls for follow up on a daily basis
. Schedule appointments within the CRM system for field sales where required
. Liaise with field sales to maintain up to date information on field visits
. Utilise external sources to obtain key information on prospects/customers to advance the call
. Chase quotations from internal colleagues in order to meet the customer's expectations
. Collate information for sales/operations meetings
PROBLEM SOLVING
The job holder will be required to:
. Use sales and customer service skills to overcome objections from customers who may be loyal to
existing suppliers
. Use sales techniques to bypass gatekeepers and identify the correct decision maker in order to advance
the call and generate interest
. Work with internal colleagues in order to drive productivity through the quotation processes
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The job holder will be required to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
. Ability to communicate at all levels
. Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills
. A sound understanding of the sales process
. A desire to always want to know more about the business and our customers
. Work well under pressure
. Self-starter, ability to work alone and as part of a team
. Works for the greater good of the company
. Keen to self- develop
. Minimum of 6 months experience in a sales / Customer services role
