Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks

At WESC Foundation we provide education care and support for children, young people and adults with a visual impairment.

Based in Exeter in the South West of England we operate from a fantastically equipped Campus as well as having access to our horticultural area off site.

We are looking for a qualified (Level 5 QCF/RMA) manager to join our dedicated team of care manager professionals supporting the young people at WESC with education and residential care.

With strong leadership qualities you will be a positive and inspirational role model for your team. Whilst not essential, experience of sensory loss and/or visual impairment will be an advantage

Accountable for one of our teams of support staff you will form part of the wider management and safeguarding teams reporting to the Director of Care and Support Services.

You will need demonstrable experience of driving performance and ensuring that care and safeguarding protocols are adhered to. Some experience of delivering within Ofsted NMS for Residential Special Schools is desirable.

You should also be comfortable with a range of ICT systems and be able to effectively use data to inform your decisions.
