Oncology Healthcare Centre Nurse
LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare has an exciting opportunity for a Level 1 Registered Nurse to join our growing healthcare Centre team based in Scunthorpe to deliver high quality clinical care to patients. You will provide 1-2-1 care to our oncology patients, administering a range of anticancer drugs and supportive treatments. The role will also include other activities such as toxicity assessments, venepuncture, cannulation, line care, pump disconnections and scalp cooling. Therefore cannulation and venepuncture competency and experience of administering intravenous anti-cancer therapy is essential.
This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who wishes to promote a progressive attitude to the continuous improvement of standards of care through research and evidence based practice. This healthcare Centre based role will require a strong and dynamic individual who is passionate about providing support to patients. Working Monday-Friday 09.00-17.30

You will have:
" Registered Nurse (Level 1)
" Valid nursing NMC registration
" 2 years Oncology nursing experience
" Post Registration qualification in administering cytotoxic chemotherapy (equivalent to ENB 237 or N59) or prepared to work towards
" Evidence of on-going professional development
" Good organisational skills and prioritisation
" Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
