Bat Licenced Ecologist - Environmental Consultancy - Runcorn.
A nationally recognised environmental consultancy has been concentrating on expanding their Cheshire based team since the New Year, and are now looking to add expertise in Bat Ecology to the area through the appointment of a suitably qualified Consultant Ecologist.
Applicants will obviously require strong skills in bat surveying and should hold a Class 1 Bat licence or higher.
You will be qualified to Consultant grade, demonstrating 2-5 years' experience working within a consultancy environment. This will reveal experience in other protected species, ornithological and botanical surveys combined with your strong skillset in bat ecology. You will also hold experience in the report writing elements of consultancy, writing ecological chapters and EcIA's for public and private sector clients. A full, clean UK driving licence and CIEEM membership are expected.
Opportunities for career progression within the Cheshire team will be apparent to candidates who hold all of the above.
Salary - GBP20,000 to GBP28,000 depending on experience.
