EDP Drug & Alcohol Services is a high performing charity providing a range of services, primarily to people with drug and alcohol problems across Devon and Dorset. EDP works with specialist partners from all sectors and promotes a system-based, value-driven approach to supporting people with complex lives.
The below role will be based in our Devon community service Together Drug & Alcohol is provided by a partnership of EDP Drug & Alcohol Services, Devon Doctors and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, supported by the Devon Together Alliance. Our mission is: To open doors for people affected by substance misuse so they can improve their lives and those of their families and communities.
Hours: Full Time, 35hrs per week
Salary: £16,000 - £17,000 annum depending on experience
Day to day duties will involve general administration to support the Service with its operational commitments, including Ensure the smooth running of the team by dealing with general enquiries, provide an efficient reception service, managing incoming phone calls and welcoming service users and visitors.
Key tasks will include: collating data and maintaining databases and producing reports, updating clinic lists and printing prescriptions, organising meetings and taking minutes, typing letters/reports and other general administrative tasks to support team members and ensure the smooth and effective delivery of the services.
