We are currently looking to recruit a Residential Support Worker to join a children's home based in Nottinghamshire. This home is a medium to long-term placement for up to 4 residents and seeks to supply outcomes for planned admissions but emergency referrals are considered.
As a Residential Support Worker you will be a key member of the team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to the young people. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting them in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. You will need to be able to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.
Candidates must have previous experience of working with children with challenging behaviour preferably in a residential setting.
To apply please submit your CV.
