Website Designer

My Gloucester based client is looking to recruit a Website Designer to join their busy team. The main purpose of this role will be to design, build and continually optimise branded B2C websites with an emphasis on UX, UI and increasing conversion rates. This role will include creating well-coded and efficient Shopify stores that fit the businesses and respective brands requirements.

Reporting to the Brand Website Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Planning, design, implementation and ongoing support of new and existing websites.
Develop, test and learn strategies to frequently improve sites with the use of HTML, CSS and JS.
Design responsive website concepts across mobile, desktop and tablet for and on behalf of a range of brands.
Research and identify latest online design trends and website technologies to drive B2C websites forward.
Build upon existing website processes and methods of integration.
Ensure website content is up to date and strive to exceed respective brand expectations.
Work across various brands under different brand guidelines.

Working with the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will continue to develop site content in line with the website marketing calendar. As well as this, you will provide technical support where needed and have an understanding of Google analytics and using the reports to influence design choices.
