One of our partner schools in Ipswich are seeking a Maths graduate to join their team as a Maths Subject Mentor and play a leading role in helping to raise pupil attainment within Maths.

***Maths Graduates required for Subject Mentor role in a supportive Secondary School
***Maths Graduate will be offered full-time role lasting for a minimum of an academic year

What are the responsibilities of a Maths Subject Mentor?

The school are looking for a Maths Graduate who has strong Maths subject knowledge but more importantly, someone who has the ability to translate this into tangible learning content for the 11-16 age range. You will be confident in forming relationships with pupils and will act as a positive role model that reflects the school's respectable ethos.

***Establish positive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and helping them to see that Maths can be relevant and fun!
***Within an agreed system of supervision and within a pre-determined lesson framework, teach small groups or whole groups.
***Adjusting the content and the way in which Maths topics are planned and delivered to cater for the individual interests and personalities of the pupils you are supporting.
