Chef de Partie required for immediate start - Full Time/ Permanent
Leicestershire
Are you a Chef de Partie with at least 2 years experience working in a highly efficient and large kitchen? Do you want to work in a friendly and supportive team? Do you have your own transport?
Salary - competitive depending on role and experience (GBP18-20,000)
Our client is a luxury hospitality and events venue, specialising in weddings, corporate events and private functions. There are multiple food and beverage outlets at the venue.
The post will be 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 including Bank Holidays & Weekends. There are split shifts within this.
Role and responsibilities could include the following:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
* Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
* Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
* Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Experience and skills required:
* Relevant experience in a large kitchen with great cooking skills
* Willingness to listen, take direction and learn on the job
* Impeccable customer service skills
* A cool head
* qualifications in cooking and food hygiene.
