VACANCY: School Cook and Housekeeper
The Green Room School is looking to recruit a reliable and self motivating person who can meal plan, cook, serve and clear away breakfasts and lunches at our school in Kingsley. Also involved would be cleaning and household duties of the school.
We are a 'healthy eating school' focusing on simple tasty meals which would appeal to pupils and staff.
Set on a farm we are a very small school (15 pupils) educating special people so someone with a kind and calm nature is key and meticulous hygiene standards are crucial. It is important that you love to cook, can cater for around 20+ people and are keen to take ownership of the catering and associated admin. You will be joining a great team who will support you in this role.
The position is 5 days/week, term time only. Hours are approximately 16 hours/week (with the option for more hours) 10.15am - 1.30pm with some flexibility. Rate GBP8.75/hour. Start date September 2018.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check and references.
