Our client is one of the country's most progressive privately owned contractors within annual turnover in excess GBP5billion per annum and with interests across all aspects of construction. They are continually looking towards the future with heavy investment in new innovation and are always looking to make sure they are their people are at the cutting edge of their industry.
They are currently at the initial stages of GBP300million package of works as part of the enabling works for the HS2 Project.
They are currently looking for a Consents Coordinator to work alongside Consents Manager and Project team on enabling packages of works. The role requires the individual to Support the Consents Manager with the interfaces with stakeholders as well as consenting requirements to ensure this high profile project is delivered on program and meeting service performance standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
•Help prepare, develop and submit Town Planning applications
•Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies, HS2, consultants and supply chain
•Work with the Work Package Managers (WPM) to identify Consent requirements and Undertakings and Assurances
•Implement early engagement with consenting granting bodies to ensure consents are granted on time
•Support WPM's in developing budget's for any Consents identified in work packages
•Create opportunities to make efficiencies and deliver innovation in the Consenting process
•Liaise with Employers Land and Development team for access arrangements
•Monitor and track Consent approvals process
•Investigate and provide information for non-compliance
•Carry out weekly reporting highlighting risk, and update progress of Consents process
