CUSTODIAN (with special responsibility for maintenance and cleaning)

West Road Concert Hall (Faculty of Music) £19,305 - £22,214 + 10% Shift Allowance

The University of Cambridge’s largest performing venue, West Road Concert Hall, is looking for a Custodian to provide backstage support to artists, facilities management for the building, support for teaching staff and students and security for all users. In addition, the post has particular responsibility for maintenance and cleaning.

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in a premises-related job, a willingness to work at weekends and in the evenings on a flexible shift pattern and someone with endless tact and patience. In addition to the basic salary a shift allowance worth roughly a further 10% of salary is offered to reflect the evening/ weekend/bank holiday work required. If you have excellent communication and organisational skills this will prove to be a challenging and fulfilling position.
