Day / Night Support Worker (Need Transport Due To Location)

A well established large national organization are recruiting for Day and/or Waking Night Support Workers for their 5 - 7 bedded homes based in Brent Knoll, Highbridge and Burnham on Sea, Somerset. You will be working with Adults, who have Autism and can display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:

• Support clients with everyday duties i. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
• Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
• Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
• Accompany them out & about in the community i bank appointments, health visits etc
• Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
• Some aspects or full personal care required but no manual handling / hoisting

Qualifying candidates:

• Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
• You will need your own transport due to location

Contract / Terms:

• Salary is £7,030 - £17,576 per annum = £8 an hour
• We have upto 16 - 40 hour contracts available, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
• Day shifts can vary between 7am - 10pm
• Waking nights can vary between 9pm - 8am
