Are you always on the lookout for a new and exciting role? If so, then we may have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team as an EMI (electrical, mechanical and instrumentation) Technician.

We're looking for someone who has the technical knowledge and experience, but who can also bring a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work. Ideally, you will have a Level 2 or 3 Electrical or Mechanical NVQ/City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, a confined space-working certificate and a valid full driving licence.

Day to day, our skilled EMI Technicians provide a wide range of support to our water and sewerage operations. The team is multi-functional and covers several different disciplines including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.

EMI Technicians carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on water supply, production sources, sewage treatment works and sewage pumping stations, but also use their skills and knowledge to identify diagnose plant and equipment faults, make suggestions for system and process improvements and provide technical advice to the Operations department and the wider business.

Knowledge of EMI plant operations/maintenance strategy, and technical design standards and WIMES will also be beneficial. You will need awareness and knowledge of IT and health and safety, and be able to work in a pressurised environment at all times of the day or night.

We are a close-knit team of skilled technicians who are renowned for the quality of their work. We pride ourselves on our staff development - and that means that you will have great opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge on the job.

* Life Insurance.

* Childcare Vouchers.

* CycletoWork scheme.

* Discounts and cashback scheme from more than 1,200 high street and online suppliers.

Please remember you must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK and provide evidence of qualifications gained. All offers of employment will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Criminal Records check.
