Remediation Calculations Analyst

One of our top Financial Services clients is seeking a remediation calculations analyst to join their Hertfordshire based team. You will be responsible for performing high quality analysis of remediation calculations, and deliver solutions to the business and its customers.

You will have an analytical mind set, working with datasets to provide solutions to errors identified within calculations. You will use SQL formulas to correct bulk information and extract information from these datasets.

Remediation Calculations Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:
*Identify errors and providing solutions for errors within datasets
*Perform high quality analysis and produce accurate output in line with requirements
*Deliver solutions to the end customer which are easily understood
*Propose process improvements which will reduce costs and failure demand, and improve controls and increasing services
*Making decisions which will ensure the integrity of financial data
*Completion of remediation summary documents
*Use SQL to correct bulk information
*Use SQL formulas to extract information from datasets
*Manage both internal and external stakeholders

As the Remediation Calculations Analyst will be required to possess:
*Advanced skills with SQL, using formulas to extract and analyse datasets
*Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*Ability to think analytically
*Strong mathematical aptitude
*Proven ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information
*Experience with explaining complex concepts in layman terms
*Details knowledge of the Financial Services environment and legislation
*Ability to manage stakeholders
