Accounts Manager (Inurance Broking)
Guildford, Surrey

Our client has an opportunity for an IBA Accounts Manager to join their Finance team in Guildford to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and management of the Insurance Broking Ledgers ensuring the whole insurance function is as efficient as possible.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing the company's insurance broking bank accounts on a daily basis
  • Entering the settlements into the system and allocating the funds against the paid items
  • Raising payments on the company's banking system
  • Working with Brokers to resolve queries on payments
  • Communicating with the company's clients to resolve any queries when necessary
  • Monthly credit control duties to all clients
  • Investigating and resolving unallocated cash and funding issues
  • Monthly meetings with the Group Finance Director for Insurance to discuss outstanding issues
  • Management and resolution of legacy balances
  • Review of processes and implementation of improvements as necessary
  • Working with other team leaders to ensure the whole insurance finance function is as efficient as possible

With demonstrable experience in an Insurance Broking Finance environment, you will have previous supervisory experience along with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude. Highly numerical, you will have experience of Insurance Broking systems, ideally Acturis, and will be computer literate specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.
