Internal Auditor - Fast track opportunty

Peterborough:Cambridgeshire:- As leaders in their field, and with a truly global foot print, our Peterborough based FTSE client has a current vacancy for a high calibre ACA, to join its fast track training programme.
You will enter the business as an internal auditor in a UK focussed position to quickly learn about the group and form strong working relationships with the wider business.
In year two, it is expected you will then move into a main stream finance role to match your aspirations and interests

Key duties include:
-manage and perform internal audits for UK and Ireland businesses
-assure consistency of audits in line with Group standards
-communicate findings in a quick and effective manner to local, divisional, and group management.
-perform follow up audits to ensure that all actions have been implemented. (as agreed with external auditors)
-review key business risk assessment process, and provide assurance that the mitigating controls are appropriate, in place and effective.
-quarterly reports and progress reviews with the divisional FD and the Group Director of Financial Control.
- ad hoc project and investigatory work
