HR Advisor required to join an exciting fast paced, evolving multi-site business who offer great opportunities to develop and excellent benefits. You will be part of a wider team, working together to support the company's people issues and support the delivery of high quality, proactive and efficient HR Service. The majority of this work will be telephone based.

You will provide reliable, legally and policy compliant HR support and guidance and will be the go to person for all Employment Law queries. You will coach managers to make effective and considered decisions.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor

* Provide advice and support to Managers on all aspects of areas relating to employee relations across different locations such as: Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance Management, Absence Management, Bullying and harassment and Contractual advice
* Advising Managers on the management of their team
* Advising on appropriate action
* Reviewing documents for formal hearings and ensuring all SLAs are met

Required skills and experience of the HR Advisor:

* CIPD Qualified or studying towards
* Strong Employee Relations experience is essential; experience advising on disciplinary action, grievance, absence and eligibility to work in the UK.
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work autonomously
* Competent standard of employment law and legislation knowledge
* Previous experience of confidently operating in an HR Advisory role within a complex and customer focused environment
* Ability to analyse complex issues and provide practical and creative solutions
* Experience of applying a commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR risk based solutions to difficult issues that arise within challenging situations
* Good questioning and listening skills
* Proficient with and comfortable using telephony and computer systems, particularly the Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent telephone manner due to the role being predominantly phone based
