Business Development Manager / Sales Executive

Grimsby, Lincolnshire / Remote

£20,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Bonus

As a Business Development Manager, you will have autonomy for your own work and cover a geographical area where customers and potential customers are based, focusing on consistent growth of the client base. This role provides the opportunity to work office based and remotely, providing the best of both.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Development of new accounts and maintain existing key accounts
  • Identify key clients and prospect companies
  • Continually seek out opportunities for new business & build relationships with future clients
  • Individual and board presentations
  • Achieve sales targets and other KPIs
  • Preparing project proposals and tenders
  • Project management
  • Provide monthly reports on net & gross profit

 

Experience:

 

  • Experience of presenting to clients
  • Able to demonstrate achieving stretching sales targets and KPIs
  • Able to demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Sales Experience either B2B or B2C

 

Person Specification:

 

  • A team player with the ability to work under pressure
  • A professional, friendly personality yet persuasive and charismatic
  • Be passionate about sales and business development with a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Proven sales experience with a “hungry” attitude
  • You will be confident presenting at to individuals and groups
  • Broad IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels
  • Valid UK Driving Licence

 

To succeed in this role you will need to be a competitive business specialist who enjoys building long term relationships. You may be currently working as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Sales representative, Business Development Specialist, Account Manager, or in Telesales. Your experience is likely to be from selling IT services or similar. You will be extremely confident both face to face and on the telephone. Grimsby is commutable from any of the following areas; Brigg, Hull, Louth, Immingham, Louth and surrounding areas.
