About the Role

The Operations Team is a core part of the Auction business, made up on various functions; Yard, Inspections and Imaging. All team members are responsible for ensuring processes within their department run efficiently and customer service excellence is met at all times.

As our Operations Assistant, you will adhere to HSE requirements and ensure the smooth running of the yard operation, through timely vehicle movements.

Arranging and supporting the organisation and display of vehicles prior to auction, you will drive any vehicles as instructed by your line manager and assist in the manoeuvring of vehicles to provide a tidy and orderly appearance. Driving in a correct and proper manner, treating all vehicles with respect, you will help locate and move vehicles for valeters, ensure all vehicles are correctly presented with appropriate paperwork and are ready for the sale.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who has a calm, polite and courteous manner and who has the ability to drive a variety of vehicles including both manual and automatic transmissions. You’ll need to be able to easily find your way around a car, to include clearing down sat nav’s and mobile phones, and be computer literate to allow you to check emails/look up vehicles on our system, check vehicles off a transporter and notify the transport department of any swaps/non-arrivals.
