This Sky Recruitment Solutions client, based near Pride Park (Derby), is a well established and respected specialist in plastic injection moulding solutions, dealing predominantly in Automotive and Mechanical, Healthcare and Hygiene, Industrial, Domestic Appliances and Water Heating sectors.
With long term contracts with major household brands, they currently have a requirement for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (with Electrical Bias), working as part of a small team alongside the Maintenance Manager and an apprentice engineer.
Stability in your role is almost guaranteed due to the historical low level of staff turnover, and the level of support offered is unparalleled. In addition to a competitive basic salary for a role with no shifts (days Monday-Friday), the successful candidate will benefit from genuine career prospects, development in the role, and job security within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging environment and will have the following experience;
* Minimum 2 years in a similar role
* Electrical bias - read electric drawings, hydraulics/pneumatics, fault finding
* Reactive and preventative maintenance experience and proficiency
This role would suit trained engineers with a Forces background, and/or candidates from the Plastics industry.
