Quality Control Technician
We are proud to represent a National client in their search for a Quality Control Technician. The successful candidate will be joining their team in their central production facility.
Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:
* Ensure CCP compliance.
* Ensure the business complies with all relevant procedures, relevant to site.
* To ensure all products manufactured are safe, legal and of the specified quality.
* To support the business preparation for all customer and 3rd party audits.
* Conduct good manufacturing practice audits, Glass Audits, Internal Audits.
* Quality Control Checks on line to ensure compliance to specification.
* Creation on pallet labels and case labels
* Management of non-conformances and implementation of corrective action
* Monitor the product rotation and date coding procedures in all areas.
* Collect microbiological samples for environmental and product analysis
* Verify compliance to QA programs such as SSOP's, HACCP, GMP's, Specification Verification, Chemical Testing, Allergen Control, Traceability, Packaging, etc.
Quality Control Technician Person Specification:
* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Ideally extensive FMCG industry experience in a similar role.
* Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 2 dsirable.
* Auditing and problem solving skills with an eye for detail
* Capable of working on own initiative & within a team environment
* Ability to meet demanding deadlines from customers and company

Quality Control Technician hours of work
* 2 shifts - 6AM-5PM and 4PM-10PM (you will also be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays during busy periods)
