Autism East Midlands is celebrating our 50th year and are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administration officer to work at our Sutherland House school in the centre of Nottingham to help build the next 50 years.

Part-time 30 hours per week
Salary: £14,653.00 – £16,608.00 per annum (Depending on experience) – pro rata

Sutherland House School is a specialist non-maintained day school for children and young people with autism between the ages of 3 and 19 years old, based in the centre of Nottingham. We have just been award ‘Good’ in the recent Ofsted inspection and want someone to support us on our journey towards Outstanding.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Administration Officer who has good background in administration, the ability to respond positively to change and be effective in demanding situations. You will need to have highly developed organisational and administration skills, be an excellent communicator and have a fastidious attention to detail with customer service skills as standard. The role will provide administrative support to the whole school as part of a team, reporting to the Senior Administration Officer. You will be involved in Quality Assurance, student referrals, student monitoring, plus working with external organisations, amongst other duties to provide a comprehensive and effective service to the school and Autism East Midlands. At times you may be required to work flexible hours. We offer relevant training and a personalised professional development plan. No two days will be the same, but with the friendly supportive team each day is memorable.

The successful candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly excellence in Word and Excel.
