Senior Voids Planner (Housing)

£23,900 – £27,700 per annum + up to 10% performance related bonus

Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Voids Planner to join our client’s busy team and support the delivery of an efficient and effective voids and adaptations service to their customers. They are looking for a positive and proactive team player with the determination needed to make this role a success.

What’s the role all about?

As an integral member of our team, you’ll support the scheduling, planning, programming and allocation of all works to ensure successful delivery within organisational Voids and Aids and Adaptation targets.

An exceptional communicator, you will liaise with operatives and contractors to support them to complete their works effectively and efficiently, creating maximum efficiency and ensuring KPI’s are maintained and Voids targets are met or exceeded.

You’ll be proactive in keeping colleagues informed and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving issues and complaints whilst delivering a value for money service.

They want somebody who:

Has experience in a highly customer focussed role within a repairs/service delivery environment.

Can demonstrate an understanding of building maintenance and multi trade service delivery, preferably within a social housing organisation although this is not essential.

Possesses 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. A housing qualification would be advantageous but not essential.

Is IT literate and competent at analysing and interpreting performance and customer service data, preparing and presenting reports to stakeholders as required.

Is highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and work under pressure without compromising on quality.

Embraces change with positivity and possesses a flexible attitude.

This is an exciting time to join. Our client has been named as a top 3 best place to work in the UK by Glassdoor and they’ve just merged with another Housing Association meaning even more new homes, opportunities and relationships. They’ve set aside a joint investment of £1.5b as they plan to build 14,000 new homes over the next decade.

Our client is committed to recruiting with care and safeguarding employees and customers, as a result they will carry out pre-employment checks.
