Part time – 18.5 hours per week, 40 weeks of the year
Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 learners every year.
We are looking for a HE Student Engagement Officer where you will provide a high quality and confidential service to students at all times. This is a part time position, working 18.5 hours per week – the hours of work will be within 8am – 9pm depending upon student needs.
Working closely with academic and student service colleagues, you will have a focus on attendance, retention, achievement and student engagement activities. Identifying vulnerable students ensuring timely and appropriate support is in place, you will provide first stage listening and guidance service for students.
We are looking for someone who has a Level 3 qualification in any subject, coupled with experience of engaging with groups of students in an educational setting. With experience of record keeping and data inputting, you will be confident in navigating around ICT systems and will be able to identify additional learner support needs.
A team player who has a commitment to the development and provision of excellent customer service by enhancing the student experience, you will create a positive image of the college and will be highly organised.
