Are you experienced within substance misuse and have leadership experience? Look no further, i have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager position in New Lodge, Barnsley!

Permanent Job - 40 hours per week
Shifts including bank holidays and weekends
Salary up to £35,225 - Dependent on experience

This service is an established Drug and Alcohol unit having 34 beds on site, providing comprehensive programme of detoxification and and rehabilitation for adults 18 years and over.

I am currently looking for a Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager who will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team at this service, developing nursing skills via operational support and clinical supervision. You will ensure clinical practice is embedded and maintained in line with the services policies and procedures, NMC code of conduct, NICE Guidance and CQC requirements. Shift work is required within the working practices of this post. You will deputise for the Unit Manager as required providing leadership and management support to the wider team at the service. As Clinical Lead you will support the multi-disciplinary team approach to the delivery model here, undertaking assessment of specialist and complex individual need relating to their addiction. You will advise, support and develop comprehensive programmes of care and maintain a person centred approach for patients admitted to this service. A Non-Medical prescribing qualification would be advantageous but not essential but not essential for this post.

Upon satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period an incentive payment of £1000 will be made to the successful candidate.

You will have a valid up to date NMC registration nursing qualification and the right to work in the UK.
