Cleaning operative
Cleaning operative and general laborer required in Cheltenham permanently working Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm and some Saturdays, GBP7.83Ph rising to GBP9.33ph after 3 months.
Cleaning operative needed to cover all aspects of cleaning, including garden/exterior, pressure washing, windows, deep cleans, environmental services, house clearances and many other commercial cleaning activities. This role will be integral to the delivery of our extensive range of services and will require you to work closely with your team colleagues.
The Role:
" To carry out any duty as requested by the management team of the business at any time
" Demonstrate team collaboration and attention to detail
" Identification and solution of day to day problems, in accordance with set procedures and guidelines
" To deal with unexpected occurrences and ensure correct reporting
" Notice and report any H&S issues that may arise
" Work as an effective member of the cleaning team
" Carry out cleaning services as requested
" Thoroughly complete all Job Paperwork and return daily to the administration team
" Report any deviances from estimated to actual work
" Develop a good working relationship with any customers
" Constantly identify any potential areas of work for the business
" On a daily basis take responsibility for company vehicles and ensure stock levels maintained
" Weekly check of vehicles ensuring roadworthy and fit for purpose
Skills and Qualifications
" Must have a "can do" attitude to customer service
" Work on own initiative and manage time
" Excellent communication skills
" Experience of working in the cleaning industry is preferred
" A prior knowledge Health and Safety and COSSH advantageous but not essential
" Excellent time keeping
" UK driving license
