The school are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative teacher to teach in a popular and outstanding 3 form entry school in Barnet. The position is for a Year 5 Key Stage 2 teacher.

My client is a beautiful Catholic primary school in the lovely borough of Barnet. The school has survived two World Wars and gone from strength to strength. They work to give their children the best possible education in the fullest sense of the word - academically, spiritually and emotionally.

The gospel principles of loving your neighbour, of compassion and of justice permeate all aspects of the school life. They are a friendly and outward-looking school community, welcoming families from all parts of the world. They are proud of the success in academic exams and achievements on the sports field, and also have good links with local, national and international charities and organizations.

The school aims to enable every individual to learn, grow and reach their full potential through providing high quality, engaging lessons and learning experiences, encouraging individuals to excel in all areas of school life, valuing, sharing and celebrating all achievements and through providing the opportunities for assessment to enhance future learning.

The role offers exceptional professional development opportunities, providing access to a wide variety of training courses to ensure a continuing advancement in teacher's capability. The year 5 teacher role will offer a warm and nurturing surrounding for children to flourish and access all aspects of the environment.

Their skilled and dedicated staffs strive to develop individual talents and interests, through the curriculum and a broad range of extra-curricular activities. They also benefit from a strong partnership with local Secondary Schools.
