Sales and Marketing Executive

Our client, a technology manufacturer and supplier based in Hertfordshire, is looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Executive with a keen interest in technology and electronics.

Our client is a forward-thinking electronics company with a culture of passion, enthusiasm and eagerness to develop and improve.

This role is suited to an experienced Sales or Marketing Executive with a strong interest or background in electronics/computers. Driven and motivated, you will enjoy the challenge of growing new sales from the ground up whilst assisting with the marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities as the Sales and Marketing Executive will include:

• Increasing sales to clients within a range of sectors
• Contribute to and implement marketing, brand awareness and distributor development strategy
• Regular updates to social media
• Creating and managing email marketing communications
• Uploading blogs to the website and reporting on analytics
• Updating CRM with leads and progress
• Monitoring eCommerce and sales platform performance
• Supporting the preparation of marketing collateral
• Responding to, and generating new leads
• Developing new business through the recruitment of channel distributors
• Building and maintaining existing accounts

Key skills and experience required to be considered for this role:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a commercial environment
• Proven track record of success in growing sales
• Previous experience in an eCommerce environment or marine / wireless electronics sector
• SEO experience and sound knowledge of PPC/SEM - desirable
• An understanding of Google Analytics - desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong business relationships
• Keen interest in Technology, electronics or computer engineering
• Ambitious, driven, focused and professional
• Proactive team player with a 'can-do' attitude
• Availability to attend occasional internal and external events
