Experienced Packing Operative required to join a leading consumer packing company in Castleford.
Hours
37.5 Hours per week
Temporary to Permanent
Job Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the highest possible standard against customer specific requirements. Working as part of a team to ensure a quality service is provided to both internal and external customers.
Main Duties to include:
Manage the packaging stock, ensuring minimum quantities are kept on site at all times and advising of shortfalls as appropriate.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and have good problem solving skills.
Liaise with all levels in the business, including customers.
Actively seek process improvements and cost saving initiatives throughout the business.
Understand the Company Quality, Hygiene and Environmental Policies in relation to the relevant standards (specifically BS EN ISO 9001 & 14001) and actively promote these within the business.
Work closely with the warehouse manager
The ideal candidate will :-
Have excellent communication skills.
Be IT literate, particularly with Word and Excel
Have the ability to stay calm under pressure and have good problem solving skills
