Service Manager | Agri-Business | GBPDOE + Package
We are working with a leading agri-business that specialises in agricultural and horticultural machinery in the East Anglia region, servicing a number of land-based businesses.
We are looking for a very talented individual who can not only manage a division of this business but also take responsibility for the sales and service where necessary from it. You would be responsible for the overall profitability, management and daily operation of the division, in line with the businesses long and short-term goals. This will see you promoting the company's image, attracting new customers and building relationships with existing customers.
Relationship building is crucial to this role and will help you establish yourself with existing accounts and become the go-to branch in the area for machinery sales.
To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following skill set:
A sound knowledge of agricultural and horticultural equipment is desired but not necessary, a good understanding of machinery in general will help you understand the sector and its clients.
Brilliant customer service and rapport building skills are essential to this role, in not only establishing yourself but also the branch you are managing. You will also need previous sales and negotiation experience to help you in the sales process.
Great communication, leadership and IT skills will enable you to manage the branch well but also keep the communications strong within the business.
