A Hygiene Team Leader is required to work nights to lead a team of Hygiene Operatives, ensuring that the cleaning and hygiene standards are fulfilled for our food manufacturing client.

Hours of work are 10.45pm - 7.00am working a 4 on, 2 off shift pattern.

Main duties:

•Ensuring a safe working environment
•Ensuring high hygiene and food safety standards are embedded throughout the team
•Using ATP and TVC testing to measure standards of cleaning and ensuring team members are using the same testing methods
•Planning, organising and monitoring the team in order to schieve or exceed the expected performance levels
•Maintaining excellent communication throughout the department in order to ensure the hygiene plans are adhered to and appropriate levels of chemicals are achieved

Ideally, candidates will have:

•Previous Industrial hygiene experience from within the food and drink industry (or similar)
•Previous team leader experience
•A passion for food safety and hygiene
•Great organisational skills
•A positive "can do" attitude
•Fantastic attention to detail
•A clear understanding of how Hygiene adds value
•A qualification in food safety, hygiene, or chemical handling
