Position: General Farm Worker/Slaughterman
Ref: 2110
Location: Cornwall
The Farm:
This is not a farm job it is dealing with dead stock cutting them up for the meat put the animals in the burner
The Role:
Cutting up the dead animals and driving telehandler moving the carcass
Putting them in the burner, picking up dead stock from farms working on your own
Driving the 7.5ton lorry / telehandler butchering experience.
A candidate that does not mind working long hours
The Applicant:
The successful applicant will be a competent Stockperson and have some beef cattle experience.
Competent tractor driver
AI trained preferable but not essential
Accommodation:
A 4 bed room in the house is available for the right person
Additional info:
This is a contract position, where the successful person will operate as an agency worker with Farm Solutions. This means that the person will not have sub-contractor responsibilities and all statutory tax deductions and payments will be made by Farm Solutions on their behalf. Hourly pay operates, which includes pay for overtime hours worked.
